Dada Olusegun is Worried About Protesters Saying : They Want To Burn Down The Country

In response to reports of new attempts to topple the government, the Nigerian Presidency has issued a dire warning, citing "forces of evil" that are determined to wreak havoc and ruin.

The plotters were accused of disseminating lies and trying to tarnish public authorities by Dada Olusegun, Special Advisor on Social Media to President Bola Tinubu, in a social media statement.

Olusegun gave the case of the son of Governor Zulum, who was wrongfully charged with murder and then attacked for speaking English well when he refuted the claims.

This alarm is in response to an earlier one issued by Bayo Onanuga, President Bola Tinubu's Special Advisor on Information and Strategy, who claimed that people organizing planned nationwide rallies are Peter Obi's supporters in the 2023 Labour Party presidential contest.

"EndBadGovernance" and "Tinubu Must Go" are the names of the statewide rallies that Onanuga said are being organized by the same people that started the destructive ENDSARS protest in 2020.

The protesters have been referred to by the President as "anarchists" and "bad losers" who are eager for the 2027 election to come around. Onanuga demanded that security personnel question those responsible, stating that their acts amounted to high treason.

According to Politics Nigeria, Nigerians are expected to take to the streets for a 10-day protest starting on August 1st, demanding better living conditions and an end to economic hardship.
